Every July Brussels celebrates the Ommegang, reenacting Charles V's entry in 1549. At its heart: the Charles Quint Ommegang, an imperial triple. Brewery Haacht, one of Belgium's last great independent family breweries, faced a challenging 2024 but its fourth-generation leader aims to right the course while modernizing.
