If you love beers with character, head to Lembeek. In 2025, Brasserie Boon celebrates its 50th anniversary. In 1975, Frank Boon saved this disappearing tradition, acquiring a small gueuzerie and relaunching artisanal lambic production. Here, no added yeasts: the beer ferments via ambient microflora then ages in oak casks. With 2.1 million litres in maturation, Boon is a benchmark. Taste the Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne or the Kriek Boon with real cherries. 50 years later, Boon has lost none of its soul.
